At BUFFL, we believe that “success is better when shared”. We want this value to be more than an internal one and share our success with our community. Plus, it’s an excellent way to meet some of our members. That's why we recently held a competition within our community to give away three exclusive VIP duo tickets to PUKKELPOP 2024! We were thrilled to see the engagement and excitement from our members, and ultimately, three lucky winners – Anneleen, Caroline, and Noa – were able to enjoy an unforgettable day at the festival with a loved one. 

The BUFFL PUKKELPOP Challenge: A Three-Step Journey

The competition was designed to be fun and engaging for our community. Here's how it unfolded:

• Step 1: Pukkelpop Trivia Whiz
  We kicked things off with a three-week trivia challenge. Community members had to complete nine surveys throughout this period, keeping them actively engaged with the BUFFL app daily. These surveys tested their knowledge with fun trivia about Pukkelpop and its performing artists.

• Step 2: Herd Growth
  The participants who aced the trivia challenge then moved on to the second step. Here, they were tasked with recruiting new members (who we call "herds") to the BUFFL community. The ten individuals who successfully brought in the most new herds received a cool foldable bidon and progressed to the final round.

• Step 3: The Community picks the winner
  The final step was all about creativity and community spirit. The remaining participants had to create a fun and convincing photo with a short caption explaining why they deserved to win the tickets. Here, the power truly rested with the BUFFL community, who voted for the three most deserving entries.

Pukkelpop 2024: A Day to Remember

The excitement culminated at PUKKELPOP itself! Ans and Toon from BUFFL organized a meet-up with the winners at the festival's start. The warm day promised a vibrant atmosphere filled with fantastic music. We distributed BUFFL stickers to raise further awareness of our platform, gave them a BINGO card with fun activities to win some drinking vouchers and sent them off to enjoy a carefree day.

The winners had a blast! Some opted for relaxation in the VIP areas between shows, while others revealed in meeting up with friends. It was a truly enriching experience for everyone involved.

Sharing the Joy: Words from our Winners

Noa perfectly captured the essence of the day: "I had an absolute blast at Pukkelpop! It was hot and wet, but that didn't stop us from dancing all night long. Thanks BUFFL for the amazing day!"

Anneleen's experience resonated with many: "We thoroughly enjoyed Pukkelpop! It felt a bit strange returning to the festival grounds after so many years, but the familiar feeling soon kicked in. We were particularly impressed by the performances of Berre, Snelle, Miles Kane, Goldband, and of course, Sam Smith. What a show! The VIP areas provided much-needed rest in between, along with delicious food and a Ferris wheel ride. We truly enjoyed every moment. Thank you so much, BUFFL, for making us feel young again and giving us an unforgettable day together."

The BUFFL PUKKELPOP competition was a resounding success. It fostered engagement within our community, introduced new members to the platform, and ultimately, created lasting memories for our winners.
